This is how Dubai Celebrated Eid-Ul-Fitr 2016

Eid-Ul-Fitr or Eid is the festival that marks the end of the 9th month of Islamic calendar, Ramadan. It is celebrated by Muslims across the continents but its celebration in Dubai this year was one-of-its-kind.

When the moon was on the horizon, there was a vibe of enjoyment among the Muslims of Dubai. Those who were not yet prepared rushed to the market for their Eid shopping. The markets were ornamented with lightings and so were the various tall buildings of Dubai.

After the morning prayer, Muslims of Dubai greeted each other and were all braced up to pamper their taste buds with finger-licking sweet dishes. Children had their excitement on altogether a new level for they were to get Eidi (gifts like money or other presents).

All in all, the Eid of 2016 in Dubai was evident from the merriment the citizens were wrapped with. This Eid brought an energetic aura across the city and filled the lives of people with happiness and prosperity.
