Ginger, the underground stem, of the plant
Zingiber officinale has been used as a medicine in Asian, Indian
and Arabic herbal traditions since ancient times. Ginger contains
up to 3% of an essential oil that causes the fragrance of the
spice.
Fresh ginger is one of the main spices used for making
pulse and lentil curries and other vegetable preparations.
It is used fresh to spice tea especially in winter.Since

colic, diarrhea, and heart conditions.
