The passion fruit is round to oval, either yellow or dark purple at maturity. The fruit is more commonly sorted and processed into highly redolent pulp, juice and concentrate. Passion fruit is an excellent source of vitamins A and C. The processed passion fruit is used in making desserts, cakes, smoothies, ice creams etc.
